The fixed slowdown of X does not make up for bland color palette swaps and what I feel are terrible placements of bosses.

Personal feeling about MS4 aside this is GREAT news for the franchise folks.
The Metal Slug name is hitting the general market is a major way in 2004. Metal Slug 3 PS2, Metal Slug Advance, and now Metal Slug 4 PS2??
Plus, whats this about bonus missions? They might be attempting to address the complaints that MS4 had. Or it may be nothing, we'll have to wait and see.

Finally I can save $$ not to buy AES version but PS2 port. Hopefully it'll come 99% close to arcade original. I'm kinda disappointed about PS Metal Slug X......

No one but us will know that too much stuff was recycled graphicaly... The gameplay is just fine!
But anyway, the 2 player mode was in part 3 and has been covered by me before. It was really cool in that game and I expect the same here. Doesn't make or break the game itself, but it's nice to see the Metal Slug engine running something new.

no they are sold out, not sure if they are getting more or what. I remember seeing it a while back when they first talked about it, just a pic of it. Then the last week in Oct I was on Play-Asia looking at stuff and I happen to see they had just listed it that night at like 4am, it sold out in less then one hour but luckily my order got in. They restocked a day or two later and upped the price by $20 or 30 and that shipment sold out in like 20mins. Crazy and now I have no idea when more will appear.
I paid $69 I think the second shipment was $79 or 89 somewhere near 100 is all I remember.
