Mikace needs comp help

mikace01: My computer is screwy, and trying to reformat. I have 3 viruses and they make it so the only program I can use is AIM, I cant even surf the web.

Format may run if this volume is dismounted first. ALL OPENED HANDLES TO THIS VOLUME WOULD THEN BE INVALID. Would you like to force a dismount on this volume?

I then select yes and it says: Cannot lock the drive. The volume is still in use.

You are best getting a uptodate virus software. If you can't access the internet yourself get a friend to put the most commen virus definitons on CD/ FLOPPY DISK.
I had a virus once which would not let me use the CD rom drive or access the internet via the normal dial up method, Try right clicking your dialup and click open from there.

If you cant get rid of the virus, Try starting windows in DOS and format from there.
On most P.c's you press delete rapidly from start up.
