Well all day at work I am looking forward to playing SS5, and finally I get home and the game doesn't work. Remember awhile back I posted about a Slug X cart that would give me flickering blue blocks and a clicking noise? Well this is doing the same thing, except with white blocks. Then sometimes vertical lines will come and go, and sometimes the screen will flicker completely black with green at the top. :blow_top: :very_ang:

BTW, that Slug X wound up working on Fatty's 2-slot. I wonder what the hell is up with certain games and my MV-1. I own about 40 other MVS games and they all work perfectly.

Yesterday my transmission fucks up and now this. Life sucks.

:help: :very_ang: :crying:

MV-1's just ain't worth having nemore!, since most new games don't work!, put it on e-bay and buy either a 2,4 or 6 slot.

hmmm, I guess you're right, Slug 3, Garou, and RotD don't work. RotD does the same thing as SS5, Garou and Slug 3 give me work ram errors. Goes to show how much I play certain games, but I coulda swore I played Slug 3 on that MV-1.

Last Blade 2 worked fine though.

I don't know whether to  or :crying:

Neostore price.

I got the credit from the SvC preorder and just paid the difference.

Looks like it's time to get me a 2-slot and have it consolized later.

Not too sure what to say about your MV-1.......go out and buy another MVS board with teh Uni-Bios.;)

Just curious......where did you get your Samurai Showdown 5? Im thinking about buying one real soon but its still almost $500.00.

Begin at the beginning. Give the mobo slot/socket a damned good cleaning and check the 5 volts at the mvs/jamma edge connect. If its even slightly low it can lead to weird probs, usually no boot.

Got it from the Neostore. Yea it's still expensive, but I used the store credit from SvC preorder and paid the difference, so it didn't seem so bad.

Anyone have a 2 slot for sale?

edit: woooo, repeated myself and didn't need to. :loco:

Wooot SSV at my house! Come on you know you want to .

Since my car is currently fucked, I have no way to get there.

Anyone know if a 2 slot will work with my mas supernova? I just noticed hardmvs says all 1 slots are jamma harnesses, and multislots are mvs harnesses. Is there a difference?

It should work perfect, not sure what you are going to do for switching between games though......unless your MAS has a select button.

Damn......I checked my email from MD Games and they are selling SS5 for $410 shipped, I am so tempted to buy this game now.

Im going to ask Trieu if he can match or beat this price.:D

Cool, switching between games isn't a big deal, since I plan to have the 2 slot consolized in the future. That's if I can find a 2 slot.
