what does that thing do?

Doesn't this allow you to play on a computer monitor with VGA hookups?

Actually, what it does is allow 15-pin or 21-pin RGB connections to be converted to composite or s-video signals. Quite nice, but it's a pain in the ass to get ahold of unless you happen to speak and read fluent Japanese to be able to order it. I have already been helped in this matter, though, so I no longer need any help in getting one. Thanks anyway.
