4 Slot MVS rom 8000 error

I was going to buy a 4 slot MVS from a local arcade vender, but when they powered it up it came up with a rom 8000 error a 5555 error and one other but I forget what that one was. I am going over there at lunch and I will find out what the last error is.
They dont deal alot with Neo Geo stuff so I thought I would ask to see if some one could help!!!

It may be a problem with one of the 256k video ram chips.
43256 on the board.

The 256s are ok, it is the 5814s. What is the read number? If it is 5555 but a number is off, then its most likely a broken trace. If you se an 00 or ff instead of any pair of the 55s, then one of the RAMs is bad. The best replacement chip is a TMM2018-45. Those are easily found. Make sure to use a socket.

Thanks , ttooddddyy & Nightmare Tony I went ahead and picked up the 4 slot dedicated Neo cab but it has a bad power supply and monitor. oh ya and board,but it came with 4 carts.SS-2, Super side kicks 2, Super side kicks 3 and Baseball Stars all for $200. I am going to see if I can get those chips today and a new power supply. If i did not allready have a 2 slot MVS I would be mad. Thanks again.
