I pretty sure you could save yourself alot of time by doing it yourself, its a rather straight forward procedure if you only need the controller rewired. I can give you the wiring diagram and instruct you on how to do it yourself if you want.
There are 12 wires total on a 15 pin connector that need to be connected on the old style controllers. Each button and directional control on the controller has its own wire. There is one more wire which is the common griound that all the buttons and directional controlls share, when you push a button or direction you are basically connecting one of the other wires associated with either the buttons or directional controls to ground, so what you need to do is look over the page I included and simply wire your controller pinouts to match the pinouts on that page. Its simplier then it sounds.
