When your computer starts up hit Delete repeatedly until the Bios menu comes up.

ur in luck i know loads about graphics cards, 1st step would be to unistall all the original drivers by going to add/remove programs, if it is a ATI card then it will be listed as catalyst, if its a nvidia then it would be listed as detonator. ok once you done that turn the p.c off and switch the cards. turn on your p.c and windows should recognise it and install the drivers for you, if not then insert the driver c.d and follow the instructions. thats the basics of it anyway. if u have any probs just post again.

The instruction manual says before installing the new ATI Card, I must have the correct AGP driver installed first. An incorrect of missing driver can result in AGP memory not being detected or a black screen after windows loads

nah thats bollocks!, i switched my nividia card to ati 2 months back and i did exactly what i said b4 to get it working, its a piece of cake, just make sure you insert the card correctly and attach the power cable to your power supply (if it has 1), what card is it?

ohhh an se, i hope u not using it for 3d games, as the pro and xt are far better and only slightly more expensive. anyways just follow the steps i said earlier and everything should be sweet:glee: . i used to think it was hard too but once u done it u realise its so easy. make sure u download the latest drivers catlyst 3.8 from here www.guru3d.com, go to ati drivers and download them it will increase the perfomance loads.

um no but i hate the SE series of cards coz its a sly name, you see the SE and think it means better than standard right?, wrong the se is a cheap cut down version of the standard card example:
radeon 9800xt
radeon 9800 pro
radeon 9800
radeon 9800se
thats the performance order, the se peforms well below the standard cards.anyhow doesn't matter as u got it now, i just hate the companys the do this as it cons many innocent people into thinking they are getting something better but they are not. :blow_top: .

I'm not much of a Video Card Guru, but if you already have an AGP card installed, then you probably have the correct AGP drivers.

Any Card-specific drivers would come with the card.

That's just my guess....

FFXI is fun, and you should be ok with the 9600, my old comp has a geforce2 in it and the game runs pretty good.
