Blood Rayne 2 announced! Whoo hoo!

October 30, 2003 - Majesco announced today that BloodRayne 2, a sequel to last year's blood-sucking third-person action title, is in the works. The new game will continue the story of the half-human, half-vampire anti-heroine, as well as expand on the gameplay with pole combat, rail sliding, advanced melee combat, and more.

"The tremendous success and popularity of BloodRayne has secured a film deal and helped establish BloodRayne herself as one of today's most thrilling new game personalities," said Ken Gold, vice president of Marketing. "BloodRayne 2 improves upon the original game in all respects and will deliver a much bigger, more action-packed sequel that elevates the franchise to a whole new level."

BloodRayne 2 is being developed by Terminal Reality, and is slated for release in October 2004. Of course, we'll post more details as we get them, but in the meantime you can check out the official website.

I admit the gameplay wasn't Earth Shattering... but what the heck is these days? *Besides, Rayne herself is just too hot to handle!

i love using that dismemberment cheat in Blood Rayne and watching body parts flying all over the place.. the best is when they survive and run/crawl away screaming with blood spurting out of them.

Yes there were glitches, and sutch, but this is one of my all time favorite games! The whole plot is sweet, as are the graphics / enemys/ and powers! Personaly I loved everything about the game. I do realise that is not everyone's bag however..
