The Gun Survivor series really aren't that bad... they just take some getting used to.
I've had a lot of fun with the first two, and although I haven't played the Dino Crisis installment yet, I bet you that it's pretty good, especially if you're a fan of the original Biohazard/Dino Crisis series.

The reason why I haven't got those PS2 games is because I have JPN PS2. Those games will cost me a lot of money even though the prices start dropping right now (check Silent Hill 3 & other games are under $40).
I decide to get US PS2 console soon and then start buying those games in reasonable price
