Was this a good deal or what!

so earlier today i was talking to a friend and for some reason we brought up his GameCube. basically, he's got a GameCube w/ Metroid Prime, 2 controllers, and a memory card...

anyway, he never uses this at all and whenever i've spoken to him about getting new games in the past he never cared to. so i had been arguining with him about how it disturbs me that he has this stuff and never does anything with it.

he asked if i wanted to trade anything for it. i brought up a few things, but when i mentioned DVD's he asked what DVD's i got. as I was typing up a list of the DVD's he was all "do you have Conan?" and i told him that i had Conan The Barbarian.
he then said "ok i'll trade for that".. and i was thinking "huh!? what else do you want?" and he was all "umm.. and a burrito".

so i went over there with Conan and picked up a burrito for him on the way, and yep.. he traded me. true story.

any of you guys had anything like that happen to you?

Is your friend stupid or does he not care at all what his stuff is worth? Nope it has never happened to me but thats a sweet ass deal man. Id do the samething if I was there also.

Where did you get the Burrito from?

so you guys are asking about the burrito..

welp, there's this place near here called "Robertos".
not exactly a top quality place, but we've been going to it for many years and really like the food they got there.
they have this burrito simply labelled "carne asada burrito". it's pretty big and goes for about $4.


oh yeah, this Metroid Prime.. i just can't get into it at all.

Ah, Carne Asada. That's what Taco Bell bills as their top quality burrito. So it does appear that you had to shell out a bit extra to appease your good friend.

This guy who used to go to my school named Josh, he told me one day in class "Hey my friend didn't want his gamecube anymore so he sold it to me for $10! And it came with a controller!" I said, "No way!" Then he pulled the GC with controller and AV cable outta his backpack.

Wow. And this was last year, when it was more expensive.
