Try Cleaning the carts connectors real well..

My solution may not be the right one but sometimes when I don't clean a carts connectors real good the sound will go out when I switch to another game..

I had this problem with League Bowling yesterday..
I cleaned the cart better and the sound stays working now..

I had this problem when I put KOF 2001 & Double Dragon in the cab together..no matter what the sould would go out when the demo reached Kof 2001..
I can only have either cart in the cart at once.

Ok..
Did you try switching the carts around?
Did you try some other games?

Try just two carts in the slots and see what happens..

Your mother boards connectors may need to be cleaned too.

So basically your ending a game, the letting the demo go into sequence to the next game and getting no sound..
Or are you trying to start the next game and you get no sound..

When the demo sequence runs through the games..are you getting sound..?
Does the demos loop around a few times and the sound is still working?or ..

What games are you trying this with?...are they all original..?
A bootleg game may cause this ..?
What games is this occurring with?

Check you soft dip settings..something may be off..like the demos..

Is this a cab or super gun..?

Did this just start to happen or was it like that when you got it?

Do you have any modifications in the motherboard like a UNIBIOS chip?

Any and all info you provide will make it easier to determine the problem..

My cab is a dedicated 4 slot which I just got. The games I am using are: Shock Troopers 2nd squad, Aero Fighters 2, Samurai Shodown 3, and Puzzle Bobble. Puzzle Bobble is a boot, but it works perfectly in my one slot cab.
When I turn the cab on the demos have sound. After playing a game the demos have no sound, and if I start a game there is still no sound.
It is not a soft dip issue.
I have tried switching the position of the carts with no luck.
I am at work right now so I can't try anything until I get home. I will try putting a UNIBIOS chip in.
Is there is a chance the original BIOS could be corrupt?

Hmm,this is over my head...I've never messed with the BIOS chip.
I'd say anything is possible...
It couldn't hurt installing a UNIBIOS I guess.
That would narrow that down....Try giving the slots prongs a good cleaning while you have the motherboard out..
I use the thin/fine side of a cardboard nail file,it's quick and easy to use..It also gives you are great connection when the prongs are cleaned this way..

Did you try the 2-3 cart method...leaving out the Puzzle Bobble boot..? Boots can cause crazy things to happen even if they work alone..

Whenever I have problems with my cab it's always either the carts need to be cleaned extremely well..Or I need to clean the Mother boards prongs again.
Cleaning the Carts includes..
Opening them and cleaning every connector to get them to shine using either (dry) green Scotch Brite or very light sand paper..(my method)

More cleaning methods here,Thanks to Briggs.

I change a lot of carts around,I play my cab a lot...
I've had the sound problem before...but it was fixed after I cleaned the carts or mother board again.

Otherwise it was a mixture of certain carts that caused it...like with Kof 2001 & Double Dragon..

I wonder if this could be caused be a to low in voltage or failing power supply.....

I didn't have a chance until today. It was the puzzle bobble boot. I am going to piss all over that thing and stab it to death. Thank you for all the help.
