Yeah I did, it was good up until the end - then it sucked.

The highlight was when they dressed up and walked out
into the courtyard right towards the end. =)

Ein_boser_Schotte happened to be in San Diego for naval training the weekend Bubba Ho-Tep opened at Kensington's Landmark KEN Theater, so my sister and I drove down there and met up with him for the movie. Bruce intro'd the film and did a Q&A session. Bruce on film is among the most entertaining things ever, but it's nothing compared to the spontaneity of his wit live and in person. I loved the film, and that alone would've made the trip worthwhile, but Bruce's appearance made it one of this year's better weekends.

Here's the list of locations and showtimes -- if this film comes to your area, I highly recommend going to see it. Great soundtrack, too -- the CD goes on sale 11/18/03.

As much as I love Bruce, I cant drive all the way to Atlanta for it. Hopefully it will get a little wider release after a few weeks like Cowboy Bebop did here (they had it for like a week at Universal with 10 am and 12 am showings).

Guess the DVD is gonna have to do.

I've been waiting forever to see this.

Heard nothing but good things about it, so needless to say I'm pretty excited (which doesn't happen all too much for me and movies these days.)

Keep an eye on the Enzian on 17/92 in Maitland. Maybe with a little pestering they'll get it there. American Splendor came there. I couldn't be happier I saw it too. Start calling them.

EDIT: There's a pizza shop 2 doors down from Sci-Fi City that has the best tastin quesitos in town.
