The PS2 version of SvC is a far superior version of the game when compared its Neo counterpart.

Remember post something that you actually believe is true.

I'm not going to believe Chimp if he says "The GBASP is the greatest handheld ever!", likewise I have trouble believing Average Joe over there with his statement, reguarldess of how true it actually is in the real world (aka outside of NG.com).

Honestly, I haven't played either version, so I can't really compare the two.

But I have to say that the PS2 cover art is far superior to the home carts.

So in a way, the comment I made is actually true.

I can't wait for KOF3D, I can't believe that people are not tired of the same old formula for going on 10 games now. Some of you complain that Street Fighter 2 which is also recieving another release this year is tired, yet you put up with KOF year after year, and still complain about rehashing year after year. The best solution to getting the series away from being a stagnant repeat with a new year on it, is to move on to new hardware. Even if its still 2D on Atomisware at least they will have to put some effort in order to make use of its high res abilities.

I believe it.

SNK never needed a multiple cart system, especially when a game like SvC can sell over 10,000 copies!

The most mainstream comment that I think is true? And it has to be amusing? Alright, I'll give it a go.


A high-rez 2D KOF on Atomiswave will be the best thing that's happened to SNK since the early 90s. Now we will be able to have badass 2D graphics that drew us to the machine in the 90s, as well as the gameplay. Most people on this board think they're being "pure" or whatever by wanting to stick to the 16bit machine, but the fact of the matter is more stuff can be accomplished with better hardware. These same people who will bitch and cry about it will be the ones that will be the first in line to preorder the PS2 port, which system they feel the need to bitch and complain about, yet probably play more than the Neo itself.

The future is now, not 1990.
