No, because then everyone who thought they had some clever poll would be flooding the forums.

The forums would be flooded with plain dumb, totally worthless polls.
Then we'd have n00b's starting fresh polls on subjects already polled... it's bad enough with threads.
There are not enough responsible members for this kind of idea to become even remotely feasible.

Pssh, the only polls I care about I can't vote in: the AP and ESPN/Coaches poll. Thankfully, as of right now they sit where I'd want them to.

As if the board isn't flooded with stupid posts anyway. I think being able to post polls would be pretty cool.
