Hi!

Great work!

PLEASE...

Can you tell me where buy the cps2 at these prices?

(excluding ebay)

Because no store From FILLMORE or S-C STORE to COSMICco or COINOPEXPRESS sells these boards with these prices...

From your LOW price column:

1944 60
19XX 50
Ring of Destruction / Super Muscle Bomber 30
Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha 30
Super Street Fighter II Turbo / X 40

etc... etc...

I have always seen the HIGH prices!

BYE!:smirk:

Thanks for the input. We all know that on-line stores charge vastly more for everything. This price guide is sourced from trades between collectors, mostly on eBay, not from what dealers charge.

The low price column is exactly what it says it is - low. I have seen many boards sell for vastly less than they commonly make. However, I do take your point that some of these are very low and should be higher. A lot of these prices I quickly filled in to get the list up there, so extremes of price tend to stick in the mind. I'll be going through it regularly to get the prices as accurate as possible, in terms of what they commonly make, but any solid price info is appreciated. Links to actual sales/auctions would be good :)

Here's my input:

Price guides suck and only serve a minority few that want the prices inflated because (A) they are a seller or (B) they need their ego stroked.

IMHO, of course.

I think you'll find a hell of a lot of people will disagree with you. Personally, as a gamer, I find the MVS price guide on here invaluable when buying carts. Means I know what the going rate is for any given game without having to search around and ask other people and I only pay over the odds knowingly.

I don't often sell stuff, I don't have an ego and my price guide is aimed at like minded individuals. :)

Price guide updated to fix the unbalanced cheapness of 1944/XX and some of the less desirable fighting games...

so that price guide is just for the carts themselves?

are you going to make a section for complete kits?

and yeah, would be nice to see a price guide for the suicide free ones as well.[both loose & complete kits]

It had zero replies while it languished in General Discussion, every post after your initial one was made after I moved it to Unrelated Topics.

If it has no replies in GD within two hours, it may as well be dead. :p

My sig was broken when the forum converted from UBB, and I have not bothered fixing it yet. :p
