I unplugged the Neo and plugged in the PS2 for awhile so I could practice up my Street Fighter skills in anticipation for SVC. I went out and bought a Hori mini-joystick, and I must say, I am finally able to enjoy fighting games on my PS.
Here's my new stick... not quite as cool as my Dreamcast Official Joystick, but it does the job... and it's got clicky microswitches. Plus it's small, so it doesn't take up much space in my cramped apartment.
So now I've been playing:
SUPER STREET FIGHTER II X
Lots of fun, and as many people (Son Gohan, Loopz etc.) have previously mentioned it's got supers, Gouki, and it's very balanced.
STREET FIGHTER ZERO 2
STREET FIGHTER ZERO 3
After playing hours and hours of Super Street Fighter II X, it was amazing to see how big and bold the sprites and BG's became in this series. I love the PS Zero 3 cause it's got both Nash and Guile together. I had to buy the damn Pocket Station to unlock Guile though.
VAMPIRE (DARKSTALKERS)
Again, lots of fun. I was surprised at the fact that when your special meter is maxed, you deplete it whenever you do any special move. In that case the special move you perform is more powerful. There are also super moves as well, but if you want to pull one off you have to refrain from doing any specials. Kinda a weird system.
