Putting that garbled noise shit in MP3s. Or even fucking worse, random noises and beeps every 15 seconds.

No offense you fags at the RIAA, this isn't discouraging me from downloading MP3s, I'm only going to look harder to find it, and this time just to spite your greedy cocksucking asses.

Fucking A.

They really do that? That's great! Sounds like the best thing that's happened to file sharing if they're flooding it with messed up MP3s.

Maybe I ought to just start randomly scratching CDs at record stores. Fair is fair.

if you join an mp3 group or become a courrier, you would never need to use P2P apps for your mp3 needs. ;)

Hahah.

I have had newsfeeds from several different companies and so far the one I have had the best luck with is Newshosting.

They have excellent speed, retention, completedness (yeah, thats a word) and great pricing.

10 gigs for $10/month
25 gigs for $20/month
50 gigs for $30/month

and other even bigger packages.

If you are a cheap bastard, you can always use BitTorrent. Though BitTorrent isn't always very fast (typically kinda slow), you can find lots and lots of complete albums, movies, tv shows and other such goods on it. On my cable connection, even with their slow download speed, I still have downloaded several dozen gigs of stuff this month alone.

I have no pitty for the dumb asses that still use Kazaa.

I think the most annoying internet trend of 2003 is faggots signing up on this BBS and turning it into a gay pride parade. But that's just my humble opinion.

Cmon guys, just buy the stinkin CD in the store.

E's 5 reasons why MP3 fishing sucks, and why you should just buy the real CD:

1.) At least you are somewhat supporting the artist who made the music. Isn't it :spock: to do this?

2.) You get a guilt-free piece of authentic media that is perfect, and has the lyric sheet and any artwork.

3.) On many internet sites, CD's are still cheap for the amount of pleasure they give you. What else do you play so much for just $15?

4.) Buying a perfect CD with all the trimmings is EASIER than finding just one free MP3 that is as close to perfect as possible. Plus you have a tangeable piece of media that can be sold later.

5.) You can make up the MP3's from the new CD you just bought in any bitrate you want!

I'm so glad I'm never buying another cd again, save video game soundtracks.

Got my own way to screw over the big record companies.

1. Yup, am a Kazaa user, and happily. HOWEVER, there is one kicker which is my own loophole which is PERFECTLY legal, and for you too.

Filesharing is legal ONLY IF THE PARTICULAR MUSIC COMPANY WATS YOU TO DOWNLOAD THEIR MP3s. This applies to most independant music companies, the smaller ones. For example, my favorite small music companiy is www.projekt.com. They have their MP3s listed on MP3.com and also on Kazaa. Great Gothic music and some other interesting genres as well, its a try before you buy. My lats order was some 30 bucks, and worth every penny, ended up with a couple of CDs and about 20 songs I went apesh*t for.

simply avoid the hassle of the big reecord companies. To quote Negativland, "We can control the big companies by taking away their sales". I wont buy big names at stores unless its a used CD, and I dont download big name songs either. So far, I have over 2,000 songs on my ocmputer, and NOT ONE of them from any RIAA member record companies...

(fave music for the week, Unto Ashes, Android Lust and Bridge Marcus).

I can't understand that people will whine about the price of music CD's but then glady buy a $50 PS2 game. If anything the game is the bigger ripoff, only to be discounted down to $20 or less later on.

The Worst Internet Trend of 2003, and the last several years, is the large amount if dickwads who think they are owed something for nothing.

There is no difference whatsoever between people who download MP3s in order to avoid paying the *cough* high cost *cough* of CDs, and those who download ROMs to avoid the high cost of Neo carts.

You're all thieves.

The morons at the RIAA and MPAA deserve a lot of the criticism they get. But they have the right to protect their product.

Don't be surprised when the encryption schemes and DRM have gotten so far out of control that your PC is locked down like Fort Knox. The MPAA is doing a fine job ruining time shifting of HDTV broadcasts, thanks mostly to the scare you've put into them by stealing from the RIAA.

People who download and don't buy are assholes.

Yep, bittorrent is a great way to go.

The pirating scene is such a drama packed
shithole - I've wasted years on teams just
to get the 0days - but it's much easier to
just use bit, and skip the bullshit.

i'd say the worst interweb trend of 2003 are cat sigs, after having to host every single one of mistress dragon's sigs i know firsthand how annoying they are.

I just got back from seeing the movie TOMB RAIDER: Cradle of Life for $1.50 + another $1.50 for my Fiancee'... and you know what? The movie sucked balls, it wasn't worth a dollar let alone $3.00... and then Hollywood wonders why there are pirate flicks all over the place for less than the original First rate $7.00 (at least here in Texas) per person. *Same bullshit with CD companies wanting in excess of $20.00 for a CD that has maybe four songs I want on them.

Thus I say FUCK BOTH THE RIAA and HOLLYWOOD. FIGHT THE POWER!. They're just damn lucky it's Cyber Guerrilla shit and not pissed off former patrons running around trying to do them harm. They're the fuckin' asshole, degenerate, pirates... not the kid who's downloading a freggin' MP3 of a song. *Personally I haven't (on the reals here now) downloaded a song off the Net since '99... but have no problems with Anime fan subs, or flicks from time to time. If the companies were not so damn greedy, ppl wouldn't resort to underground activities now would they? If it's INDIE, and made with blood, sweat and tears... I support all the way... otherwise, "Fuck Em!"
