...with Trieu... Man, thank you SO FUCKING MUCH for the KOF 2001 poster, I was planning on ordering it anyways, but you added it in as a bonus... much thanks.

Anyway, onto the story. I ordered the KOF 2001 MVS kit a few days ago, and just got it in today. Firstly, I was amazed with the packaging. Really great stuff :). Then I get to the bonuses, he packs me 2 flyers, and the HUGE KOF 2001 poster (which will be going on my wall VERY soon).

Anyway, I have to go play the game right now, thanks so much!

Be that as it may its still in extremely poor taste. This forum is an outlet for the Neostore, which is in direct competition with the S-C store.

Since Trieu doesn't actually visit these forums any longer and the fact that there is really no reference at all to specifically tell a reader anything asbout the transaction: (ie: a mention of the S-C store) it would not tell a newbie anything. What it DOES do however is stir shit with people who already know about the two sites and the competition.

I think it sounds very wrong. Saying hey I had a good deal with a member is nice, or reporting that there is a good price on a game somewhere is different. But to come to Shawn's forum and say hey "I love Trieu and the great deal I got at S-C.com" sounds like a advertisement, this should be posted on S-C.com. Just looks likes common sense to me.

I'm going to be honest with you guys. The main reason I don't visit S-C.com is because of stuff like this. I feel a lot of members of that board like to come over here and stir up trouble... It's fucking BS. I like Vinh, he's a good guy, and no one doubts he is a good seller, but the rivalry between the boards is beyond lame.

And, like I said before, why even go to S-C.com? All the news is posted here with in minutes of Trieu saying it anyway... So shit... who cares? ;)

This was in very poor taste, I like both sellers and I still think this was wrong. So now, where are all the posts on S-C.com saying how awesome of a seller Shawn is, and not to waste time with the S-C.com store?

Yeah... that's what I thought... The clientele is distinctly different.

Yea they are in direct competition for Neo stuff, and it's great. But only Trieu has teh CPS2 shizzle, so if I buy a kit from him and the service is great, I'm gonna post it, just not in new and rumors.

Competition is a GOOD thing.

No, now it is in Unreleated, and now I don't see a problem with it... but as a News and Rumours post it was like:

"Trieu is teh GOD... buy from him"

Especially when there is another S-C.com store thread that is sitting in the News and Rumours area generating lots of attention!

Wow, I really agree with you here. REALLY.
You perfectly summed up my opinion.

Tons of people abandoned this place for for the S-C boards, and hey, I've got no problem with that. I get upset when those same people sit around those forums and refer to this board as, "the other board :rolleyes:" and follow that bitchy little *rollseyes* graemlin with some sort of snide remark. With the exception of this thread, I've never even seen a negative remark or reference to S-C's forum on neo-geo.com.

I've bought from vinh, wish him luck, and think he's an excellent guy and supporter for the community, so again this is in no disrespect to him...but his forum and its 150x150 avatar size seem to be total faggot magnets.

Complain all you want about its flaming---this forum is still one of the most mature VIDEOGAME related forums I've ever visited. Hopefully it stays that way.

Either way, I doubt you're going to find ng.com members advertising the neostore in the S-C "News and Rumors" forum.

See, I think that's a whole different thing. People here want the best buys they can get right? That's why people advertise the newest sale, his newest shipment, etc. But the thing is, I bet most people at s-c.com also visit here.

I wasn't advertising at all, I was just happy that Vinh gave me a 20 dollar extra gift :)

I've bought from shawn too, great guy also.
