Ok if anyone's imterested, Gamestop is selling the System for 200.00 for a limited time.. Most likely because sales have been slow, so if you wanted 1 now may be the time to pick 1 up.
www.gamestop.com .
I may get 1 , but i see another price Drop Soon , if it hits the 150.00 mark it's mine.

AND THIS IS NEWS WHY? *The N-Gage sucks donkey balls be it at $300 smack a roos or at $199.99. Do yourself a favor and either save up for a PSP or get that Zodiac thing that supossed to play games, and suck your dick to boot. In the long run you'd be better off. How on Earth NOKIA ever figured this bastardization of a phone meets game system would ever work is beyond me? *But you never know...

This has to be some type of record for fastest price drop after a release.

Even then I'd have to think about it. The N-Gage just plain sucks. Tapwave has this thing beat hands down.

If you can't get an N-Gage for free, then you're paying too much.

I swear the N-Gage seems like it should be a suprise gift from your favorite cereal.

I can see sales going up a little bit with the price drop. I still wouldn't pay that much for one...

hmm let me think...
GameCube $99
Xbox $179
PS2 $179
GameboxSP $99
N-Gage $199

but to be fair, lets look at it like this:
GameboxSP $99
-Killer library of great games,
-great price,
-great support

N-Gage $199
-portable online gaming
---not many people to play with
-It's a phone!
---extra cash to connect phone service
-It's a MP3 Player!

When this thing hits about $75-50 LMK

I wouldn't even pay $50 for this POS. Just looking at how the games swap out makes me laugh, and the dorky phone part is embarassing. Plus the button layout is utter trash. What WERE they thinking?!?! :oh_no:

They don't have to pay me to make me not buy it.

Or without the double negatives, they have to pay me to buy it.

Actually, pay me and I still wouldn't buy it. It'd have to be free, and then I'd auction it.

N-Gage $199 = great price point!
-portable online gaming you can't do that on GBA
---not many people to play with it's a new system...give it time! !:oh_no:
-It's a phone! a phone with a full color screen, gaming capabilities, PDA functionality, and MP3 playback. Beats buying a bare-bones color screen cell phone when you can get all this for not much more in terms of price.
---extra cash to connect phone service
-It's a MP3 Player another added bonus!

As a portable gaming device the n-gage appears to be simply crap (and the sales indicate this!). I just don't ever see myself picking one of these up. I'll stick with my GBA SP thank you.

No problem. Enjoy your GBA. To each his own.
GBA = too mainstream for me. :)

you couldn't GIVE me an n-gage.
absolute crap. could the games BE any harder to swap? not to mention they are all cheesy rehashes of old games. i'd rather have a gasoline colonic than try to play a game on that thing.

I like this kind of comment
Don't you think that there is no more mainstream comment than "too mainstream for me"?

Well, what would you rather hear?
The GBA doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. Yes, fine, it has the SNES and NES rehashes which I've played to death since the 1980's and 1990's? I for one do not like the d-pad and buttons on the GBA. THe screen is still too dark even with the backlighting. And the platform has a virtual monopoly on the handheld gaming market. No thanks.

Same goes for the upcoming Sony PSP. We've all seen what Sony has done to the gaming market with their Playstations, do we REALLY want them to succeed in the handheld market as well? Now, I'm not a fan of Sony systems to begin with, so the PSP is not an option for me anyway, but, I shake my head in disgust when I read about how so many NEO GEO fans (of all people) are planning to buy a PSP!

Nokia is the underdog. Their system is compelling and the few games that I've played are fun and addictive. For me and my personal philosophies, the N-Gage is the best fit as far as handheld gaming is concerned. The point is, buy what you want...don't let others dictate what you should or shouldn't buy. Chances are, they're just spouting off regurgitated comments anyway. :D

No offense, but are you actually getting paid to shill this thing?

N-Gage HUGE THUMBS DOWN. If your really going to buy one just send me the $200 instead and you still would be getting a better deal.
