Any MN Members going to the Atmosphere show?/ MN auction info

Just wondering if any of the MN members are going to go to either of the Atmosphere shows? I will be going to the show on Saturday. I was thinking about hitting Gameworks after the show.

Most of the MN clique is going to a video game auction tomorrow morning in Ramsey MN. And as far as GameWorks goes, some of us believe GameWorks simply blows.

Of course I'm not sure about naitram, Bobak, vincewy, GregN, & Nick Goracke's opinion of GameWorks?

Atmosphere is one of the best Indy rap artist in the world and he is from Mn. As for gameworks I still haven't been there. When is the Auction by the way?

The main auction doesn't start until 11 o'clock I believe? But we're getting there at about 9 AM, that's when all the items up for auction are set to "free play", testing before you buy my friend.

GregN got an excellent condition 4-player X-MEN cab for, what, $200 I've heard?

Not sure, I'm not familiar with that area of MN (Ramsey that is). All I know is that it's just northwest of Anoka.

Verbatum could answer your location questions best, he's the one organizing this adventure.

@ DjDelly. I may hit up the show tomorrow. I've been contemplating it all week. I really wanted to go tonight cuz Cannibal Ox is playing the 7th street entry as well. Decisions decisions.

Man, I wish I lived up that way. I'd most definitely be going.

Hasn't been a show within less than a three hour drive around here in a while. Gainsville and Tallahasee are the only places that get hip hop shows, and they're almost always Anticon related. We did get Noah23 and Qwel with Josh Martinez on two seperate occassions here in Jacksonville this past year. I was amazed they came here.

I need to move my ass out this place.

Anyone happen to catch that recent interview with Slug and Aesop (magazine name slips my mind)? Slug mentioned how he's kind of irked by the color of crowds at his shows. He basically wishes more blacks were in the audience because those were the artists that got him into doing his thing. He actually mentions how he thinks he's part of a problem with white people taking over hip hop. Not sure what I think about those comments, but they were interesting coming from him none the less. He's half black by the way (apparently).

At any rate, enjoy the show. Sure it'll be a good one.

Just messin' with ya man. You should stop by the auction if you have a chance. It's kinda' a drive but just go to the website that DJdelly pointed to. Call me if you think you might be able to make it.

Oh yeah... it starts at 8:30 in the morning. From 8:30 to about 10:30-11:00 the machines are set to free play for people to see what games they may want to buy. After that the auction begins... which according to Paul is an honest to God live auction with fast talking auctioneer. FUN!
