Well, nothing beats the feeling after you study hard and finish the exam and play SvC afterwards!!! That's what I'll experience soon...

My exams starts on 11/11 and SvC will arrive mid-Nov, and I think I'll finish those exams first before popping the cart to my system (that is if I can resist :p).

Oh boy... new college student... oh the memories. My friend, I know you won't do this, but I have learned something from my slacking off in college. Start studying one hour a night a week before an exam... really... The little amount of time spent reading and reviewing, over the week... you will walk in and smoke the thing. I have done the... OH SHIT, EXAM IN 12 HOURS MUST CRAM! Thing too many times... it doesn't work, you do shitty... and even when you do OK, you still could have done better and been under less stress if you just took a week to prepare.

OK, I sound like an old man, but I wish someone had made me do this when I started college... it would have been so much easier/less stressful ;)

Man...on monday I've got a mid term (the last one) and I have to say that it's goingto be nuts...we have not been marked on ANYTHING in that class. It's going to be worth 40% of my final mark. Fun times had by me:crying:

I had a class a year ago, no quizes, no homework, no tests... only a final exam. You want to see people sweating bullets?

We didn't know how hard it would be, nothing to judge the teacher on... we didn't know what to expect, was she going to use trick questions, etc... Everything was riding on that one test!

I studied, and studied and studied... ended up taking it and it wasn't half as bad as I expected... got a low A on it. Still, freaked the living shit out of me!

By the way, Ray... nice avatar... you have an iPod? I am trying to justify buying one... I love them, and would probably go for the 20GIG model... but, $300 is holding me back.

I know the horror! This semester is my hardest semester I ever experienced! I have 2 math classes(trig, calculus) and 2 science classes(physics, chemistry) and I have english. These 5 classes are kicking my ass! After the stressed out moments, I take out my games and relax! That works for me! :crying: :crying: :crying:

So true!!!... But what works better for me is to understand what the teacher is teaching while he/she is teaching it to you in class... That way, I comprehend the subject better, can ask questions back, and then have to study less before the exam...

Yup, I just got mine, the 3rd Gen 10G one.

At first I thought 10G is gonna be enough but the way things turns out, I might need more  , but nah...I'll stick with what I have.

The best trick I have for doing well in college is to just show up in class and listen. That's all. I have had more than my fair share of tough classes, and this has got me through them with little difficulty. You'd think this was common sense, but so many people don't do it...

Ahh studying, what's that:p

As a Art major, studying is a thing of the past and I could not be happier.

Oh the real world is going to smack you in the face one day ;)

Nahh... the art world is cool, best of luck, I've got quite a few starving artist friends, but they seem to be happy (maybe it is delusional, or some mental deficiency though  )

I went through it last night. It was literally about 12 hours of studying with ten minute breaks here and there. I took the exam today wearing my lucky elmo sock, so we'll see how I do...I hate math. :annoyed:

your better off not reviewing 3 hours before the test.... and going and drinking a beer (so my finance professor stated).

If you do not know it 2 days before.. you won't know it any better in cramming.

I still haven't listend to the advice though :( Maybe I should try...
