I've been thinking about picking this up, but I'm not to sure about it. I'd like some opinions on it.

It's got some major balance issues (too easy to become too powerful for the main quest), but there's a LOT of sidequests for power-players to take advantage of to make up for it. The designs are great, but the battle graphics aren't even up to par with Final Fantasy Tactics. Voice acting is good on both ends (english, Japanese), but the music is pretty boring. Both the writing and the story are fresh and entertaining.
If you aren't a fan of the genre, it's not going to change your mind, but it's a SOLID release.

I was bored out of my mind and felt it didn't compare with the original at all.Talen said:You liked VH 2?I was bored out of my mind and felt it didn't compare with the original at all.
Ah well, Disgaea is great, probably my favorite ps2 game for the reasons mentioned already.
