I'm waiting to see the new TCM until Wednesday afternoon. I've been over at the Fangoria forums for a while and I've read a few reviews that state they actually like it more than the original. 
This really wouldn't mean all that much except for the fact that Fangorians are probably the pickiest, rudest, most vile horror fans on the net. So to hear them say something like that is absolutely earth shattering.
I can't wait to check this one out! It's supposedly so brutal that even the most "hard-core" of horror fans had a hard time watching some of the kill scenes.

Being a HUGE horror movie fan, I wasn't expecting much here, but I ended up really liking the film alot. I reccomend everyone go check it out

I thought they wouldn't show very much blood, considering the original had no blood or gore in it, but I was way off.
I would say I liked the remake better. In fact, this may sound like blasphemy to you other horror fans, but I always thought the original was kind of boring.
