NGPC screen displaced??Help please

Hi there,

I recently bought a cheap second hand NGPC and everything seemed to work fine, but eventually I got aware that there was about 1cm line on the top of the screen that didn't show anything.

At first I thought that it might be the screen that it was broken, but it just seems that there is NO screen in there! It seems to me as if the screen was displaced about 1cm down from it's original position...but sounds werid though...

Anyone has seen something similar before? Any ideas of what it might be? Is it safe to open up the NGPC to check it out without damaging it?
