Also, in the second stage the prisoners are no longer the Chuck Norris type, but some sort of typical Japanese 'peko peko men' (those classic low-rank employee, you know), what a revolution in the seires! ;-)

hopefully the missions are not "stretched" in length like in Slug3, this really sucked ...

Look at the 2nd scan of SS Zero...
In the character selection screens, there's a "chara slot" (empty though) at the top, right above the alternate versions of Kazuki and Sogetsu. o_o
I had never seen it on other pics...

Hidden character ?

Hmm, they also say that with the CvS series, Capcom directly reused SNK's sprites without redrawing them... ¬_¬
So I'm doubtful about what they say...

I agree. I think they should have started level 6 at the launch pad.

Maybe a 10 level slug is really a 5 x 2 like Last Resort was.
