Samurai Spirit 0/5:Sankuro, Yumeji, and Rao screens

Here comes some new screens of Samurai Spirit 0/5, presenting Yorozu Sankurô -is there some connection with Minazuki Zankuro?- (with his 3 men:Fuyo, Ippachi, Goshichi), Kurokouchi Yumeji who is some transexual guy, and Rao, the Nambunaga-like final boss of the game. the screens are from www.neo-arcadia.com

Interesting...
Although not much is to be seen about that final boss guy.
(Nambunaga-like ? Don't you mean Nobunaga ?)

By the way, I don't mind them reusing old backgrounds, it's cool to me.
(Capcom did it times and times again with the SF2 series, and not with just a few backgrounds, but all of them... Yeah, I know that's an old series, but still)

Plus that waterfall one is nice.

Yes, Raô/Gaô is a clone of Nobunaga Edo.

Sankurô isn't that much interesting... But he seems to be funny.
Not charismatic at all... I would like to see the animations to really judge this "boss".
Indeed, since it's not one boss but 3 at the same time, maybe it's normal.

For the ukyo like boss... looks good.... even if again we can see an old idea :spock:

But I'm still very exited by this title coming out in december

Regarding Yumeji, are we absolutely certain this character is male? The illustration looks very feminine to me -- makes me wonder if this character isn't a woman dressed as a man, like Kojiro from LB2. Anybody notice purple Nako in that 3rd pic? Yumeji's name is under the right life gauge, but Yumeji is nowhere to be seen. Has Yumeji summoned Nako, or shapeshifted/quick-change-disguised into Nako?

I am beginning to suspect that these are the alternate versions of Ukyo and Genjuro turned into new characters. Well maybe not Genjuro since Sankuro(name sounds similar enough) is some joke character.

as far as the backgrounds, i think the waterfall looks much better here than in ss3. not sure what to think about kumeji, especially if he/she is some bastardized combination of ukyo and naka :eek_2:

, but all in all i like what i see so far. thanks for the pics!

Yumeji is Ukyo and Shang Tsungs love child.
Aside from that these charas look nice. Sankuro looks to be funny to use and Yumeji well... i think its a dude but i could be wrong.

Dark Amakusa was a sub boss in SS4, and Yuga's slaves and Gandara were sub bosses in SS64 1 and 2.

(this game in my opinion will be better than SVC, but my judgment isn't objective since I'm SS fan since the begin)
