Looking for love...or at least an AES :)

Hello out there.

I am looking for a pretty specific Neo Geo package, and if you've got it for sale, and we can reach an agreement, let's do it!

I would like the following:

A Japanese or Modded US Neo Geo HCS in reasonably mint condition. I'd like the box, but I'm not too concerned about the status of the styrofoam. :) 2 controllers would be nice, but one will do.

At least two of the following games: Sam Sho 2 or 3, Sengoku, one of the later World Heroes (preferably Perfect, but Jet 2 would be fine), Magician Lord, Nam 75, ANY of the KOF's, Windjammers (a long shot, i know), King of the Monsters 1 or 2, or Last Blade (also a long shot, but you never know...). I am not concerned about the country of origin (Jap, US, Euro, whatever), but I insist on the games, cases, and inserts being complete and in reasonably good shape. Also, no freaked games, please.

Price can be negotiated based on what games come with the system. I would like to stay in the 250 to 350$US area, but if the right deal comes along, i'm all ears. Also, if this amount seems low to you, the reader, please don't flame me for three pages like what was done to that poor schmuck who offered to trade his broken ROB for a Neo. I think, given the amount I've suggested and the relative age and commonality on most of the games I've asked for, someone out there will find that this deal strikes their fancy. Bottom line, I'd really only like to hear if you are interested, NOT if you think I'm crazy or if you, yourself, are not interested. Sound fair? :)

Finally, I realize that I am new to the site...please don't let that discourage you. I am a dependable, consistant adult who has had a very successful buying/selling history on ebay (feel free to check: Harland815@aol.com).
Thanks for checking out the post, and hope to hear from you sellers soon!

Alas I have no AES for sale, but I do have:

NAM-1975 JPN $60
Garou Dentetsu Special (FFS) $45
League Bowling JPN Clamshell $48
Thrash Rally US $45
Last Resort JPN $115

All complete

All of these are great starter titles and for the neo, and are still my favorites.

If you don't mind paying by money order and want specific rundowns on any game's condition, lemme know.

Welcome to the forum, first of all :)

I have a modded home cart system for sale. It includes the box with styrofoam and baggies, A/V cable, one controller, and power supply. The system has S-video, stereo RCA jacks, BIOS mod, and a new cart slot. It was originally a European PAL system that was converted to NTSC. It comes with a Euro power supply (adaptor for US outlets included).

The S-video output is practically flawless on my Sony Wega, and this is a TV that reveals even the tiniest imperfections. I'm a home theater hobbyist and pay attention to these things. The console itself has only one noticeable 1/4" scratch on top, down in the lower right-hand corner. Some other minor marks that you'd need a very bright light (or a magnifying glass) to see. Very clean--no dust buildup or grime in the seams. Truly "near mint."

The joystick has a few more noticeable marks, but nothing that would lower its rating below "near mint." No faded logos on either the system or the joystick.

One quirk: the color-coded stereo outputs were installed backwards. The red jack, which is normally the right channel, is the left channel, and the white jack is the right channel. It doesn't affect the functionality of course, but I thought you should know.

The only reason I'm selling it is because it boots into Euro mode by default. To most, this is of no concern at all since a quick BIOS alteration switches it to Japanese mode if desired. I'm extremely lazy, however, and since I almost always play in Japanese mode, it's a bit annoying to me.

Here's a picture I took of it recently. It was boxed up immediately afterward and hasn't been touched since:

It's truly a nice piece, and I debated endlessly with myself over whether I should sell it or not because of the BIOS thing since it can be tough to find a Neo in this condition.

I was originally asking $450 shipped Priority just for the system, and had a buyer until they recently backed out due to personal reasons. I think the amount you're offering is a little low, especially considering you want two of those games tossed in as well. PM me or e-mail me and we'll work something out. I have several of the games on your list in complete and excellent condition. I take PayPal, c2it, or money orders. I've dealt with several of the members on this board and have excellent ebay feedback (all positive).

Thanks :)
