I think we should be able to talk about non-Neo tech stuff in Tech support

As far as I remember, we've always talked about all sort of hardware things and mods in the Tech Support forum, not only Neo related. Specifically about other arcade boards and classic systems.

However, some of those threads have been locked now (OK, I agree the one about the xbox had to go), but I think it is legitimate to speak about Naomi (it's getting the "classic" category to we arcade nuts, and it has SNK-related games) and the F3. Also about Snes, Megadrive, etc.

The Tech Support forum is without any doubt the best one in this board, where only serious talk takes place without stupid flame wars and egos. That's why I don't think we need those threads to be locked.

I'll agree with that. I didn't know they were locking non-Neo related tech threads. I don't see anything wrong with an occasional non-Neo related tech thread.

I too agree. even though i dont use any other systems myself, i was shocked to see 3 threads shut down for the fact they wasnt neo geo related, as they were not doing any harm in there, plus

I mean news and rumours and general discussion have non neo geo related topics in them such as games like street fighter 3 or if a paypal account needs to be reinbursed and they are not shut.

I was looking forward to hearing about the secret codes in marvel super heroes too

Since it's the only TOTAL no bullshit thread, every usefull information and help hints as well should be posted there.

I agree, we were always able to talk about non related neo stuff in the tech forum, I don´t see why we should stop talking about it. I know that the Xbox thread had to go but, all the arcade related threads and the classic systems threads should stay.

I agree completely. I got some really good help with my Pac-Man here, and that's one of the reasons I stick around! If we can't talk about general arcade hardware, then that really limits conversation.
