Aes Identification

Say you've got an unboxed aes system somewhere and it was stated as jp. .Now how to definitely identify it as jp.? Just by the Serial? Just by Made in Japan?

..And how about Systems modded with an Developer's Bios.Is the Initial Country Information you get when booting a Game and go direct to the select + c menu the truth? Or is for example "European" displayed anytime because its the first in the countrylist?

All I know is that my US systerm has an FCC sticker on the underside. My Jap system, of course, doesn't.

enter the memory card manager....if it is in Japanese then its JP if it's in English and is hooked up to an NSTC TV with no converters then it is US, if it's English and hooked up to a Pal TV with no converter it's Eu
