I couldn't WAIT for next week to come and was super-psyched for the game, but there's nothing that can be done about this; I was pretty let down yesterday, but life goes on.

I'm definitely going to be getting KOF 2001 for the PS2 to help pass the time now, though.

Back to KOF 2002...

Why do I get the impression that Playmore is an unprofessional
company?
Must be the inconsistency of their release schedule.

So it's back to "we have to wait another month" and
I feel a little bit pissed, again.

Well, maybe the SNK vs. Capcom Card Battle Game that I
ordered from Shawn will help me to wait for Nov. 13th.

You folk are acting like game release delays are new and unique to SvC. Have none of you ever bought a video game before or something? None of you watched the release date changes with Half Life 2, possibly a game with an even higher profile?

Get off your high horses. These things happen every day, in every walk of life, it’s not a big deal.

I guess that explains why in all the advertisements for it the release date was always preceeded by the word arrival? (note the question mark)....so i guess they knew they might run into an issue like this. But to reiterate a point that was made earlier this isnt a problem that is limited to this game alone....I mean releases for games across ALL PLATFORMS change on the daily. (just ask anyone of us up here that owns a GameCube about it) Even though it sucks the delay announcement came ONE WEEK before release its just more time to gather funds for us who plan on buying it.

but this is a game that is OUT in arcades from July!!!

I mean come on,ROTD came out in time(ROTD!!!)

MAtrimelee came out in TIME

and now,the most awaited PLAYMORE game?

It's a shame, but not the end of the world.

And it's NOT a reason to imply that SNKP is a shit company.

If you don't like them, just don't buy their games.

unprofessional?

1. I never said SNKP is a shit company.

2. To change the release date back and forth two times in three days is highly unprofessional. I work in the sales department of a big company and if we would tell our customers that they will get their parts in one week, then in one month, then in one week and then again in one month, and all this statements between 3 days, they wouldn't take us for a serious company anymore.

Standards vary between industries, I have no idea what field you work in but I can well believe that Playmore’s behaviour in your field would mark you out as an unprofessional company. Playmore’s behaviour in the games industry is in no way unusual though. Three times in three days is pretty fast for sure, but if we weren’t watching it like it hawks we’d have missed two of those date changes at least – assuming we’d even known the initial date and weren’t just waiting till we saw it on the shelf.

Yes, maybe I presume to much because of my working
experience but the fact that a good part of the video game
industrie behaves like Valve or Playmore, doesn't change the
truth that this behaviour is unprofessional.

The video games industrie tries to tease their fans with
articles and ads long before the initial date. They
advertize with this date and therefore its natural that the
fans are disappointed if they don't meet up with it.

Well, at least I'm disappointed.

Oh well. I was majorly let down when I first heard, but im ok with the wait now. I mean what can I do? Nothing, so ill just make the best of it with other games till then.

I think the only reason most of us got so mad at first was because for the longest time we've been expecting it on October 9th. It was down to just over a week away. We could practically taste it, then it was yanked away. If it had been listed as November 13th a few weeks earlier I dont think it would have bothered me. Games get delayed all the time.
