Yes, I am so bored that I've decided to start this oft re-hashed topic, but so what? (why is this smiley called 'angry'?)

I guess the interest was from around 1991/2 after seeing the pics and prices in game mags, but didnt get a machine untill xmas 1994 when i got the top loader Neo CD w/FF2.........i couldnt believe they had put the games on cd and that they cost the same as standard mainstream console games.

Im 22 now, 23 next month................

Currently age 25... played my first NEO:GEO games (NAM-1975, Super Spy) in the summer of 1990 at Padre Staples Mall in Corpus Christi Texas... since then I've been a fan. Owned 7 AES systems, 1 CDZ, 3 Neo CD, 2 NGPC, and currently looking into within the next year getting a Candy Cab and doing the MVS scene in lieu of the AES again.

I'm 24 and I've been into SNK ever since the first time I played P.O.W. in the arcade back in '87.

24. 2 years. Love it.

When the system debuted my parents were in a pinch, so we had a SNES/NES setup and that was it. We weren't rich, so $150+ games (then more expensive later on) and $600 for a system was totally out of the question. :(

Played SamSho on SNES, had to find out what the real game was like, downloaded the ROM and an EMU (yes, I was playing evil, but it was a big investment). Played the game. Had to know what it was REALLY like to play, so I bought a Super Nova from MAS Systems and next thing you know, 2 years later, I have a 4 slot, 30+, a Hyper NG 64 board and thr 4 fighters! Woohoo!

I'm 32 and have been into the Neo since Baseball Stars 2 debuted. I managed to get my first home console in '94 and kept it until '99, when I sold it along with my 8 games.

My interest in Neo rekindled in March '02 and purchased another home system off ebay. I now have 15 games along with my system and I won't be foolish enough to sell it ever again.

I'm 15 now, 16 in November.

Anyway, I first got really into the Neo through the NGPC. I wanted a system since around age 12, and finally I got two (one for me an for my brother) and a few games with early Bar Mitzvah money. I remember ogling the reviews at Sector: NGP and Pocket.ign.com (they really liked the NGPC, you could tell) and thinking these guys were lucky to have played a NGPC.

I got my cab nearly a year ago (interestingly enough, I got my NGPC on Dec. 24, 2000 (long story short though I ordered it in like late August they never got a reshipment (they being express.com before they went mainstream/DVDs) and re-ordered with express dilevery through therage.com), and my cabinet I got on Dec. 24, 2002). I have 14 games for it. I rarely play my NGPC, but I'm never selling out. Oh, I have the MVS version of all the Neo games ported to DC in America, the DC ports are nice but the Neo versions are superior.

My love for the NeoGeo will never die, I'll be an old coot and still play my games.

Played my first games when I was really young at a Pizza Hut. Wanted the games then, and I remember looking in the backs of gaming magazines at those old black and white Import company ads (remember those?) and wanting one so bad.
Then around 98, MVS machines started showing up around here. The rest is history.
I'm 19 now.

26. I have been loving the Neo since it came to my arcade in 92. I remember Babbages was selling the games, and about a block away within the mall the arcade had the same hardware. I was blown away by the graphics, but it seemed just real enough to own... hell, it was "24 bit" for christ's sake!

I bought my first Neo home unit about.... hmmm, it's right when KOF98 came out. September 98 (back when the KOFs actually came out when the year they were made was in the title to home). Bought that, Metal Slug 2 and Last Blade. Good times!

I actually bought my Neo thinking it was long dead. I was like "I will buy Samurai Shodown and AOF2, and that Metal Slug game I saw....", not realizing just how alive the scene was, and still is!

I am 24. Been playing Neo since the Samurai Showdown in my local Pizza Hut enthralled me back in the day. That was around 93. Never started to get anything until I was 19-20. Some MVS carts. Didn't really start "hardcore" collecting NGH carts until this past year. :)

I'm 27 and have been playing it ever since it came out in the arcades. Super Spy and Nam '75 were the first games I played.

I've also been a fan of SNK since the NES days. (Athena, Iron Tank, Ikari Warriors, P.O.W.)
