Incorrect item description and unhappy buyer will ruin other quality sellers.

What can we do about it?

I agree however it is also important to have good buyers who pay fast and provide good communication.

I think the best way is the way that is currently used and that is in the sigs.

If you ask VinceWY, he'd say, "Shoot Ryan."

I think the reference system is key and also just doing business wiith people you know.

For example, I buy from Joe McCabe when he has stuff over many other people due to my knowin his high standards. (I'm not saying other people suck or anything, this was just an example.)

there's gotta be other ways as well

I like the reference system just as much as anyone else but there is a small flaw in that system...it doesnt leave any room for the newer NEO sellers to do any business. Take myself for example: I consider myself a honest seller and honest buyer, I have done quite a few transactions up here that ran rather smoothly. But by my still being considered "new" during the whole Aaron Lewis fiasco alot of my recent attempts, hell ALL of my recent selling attempts have gone bad, basically nobody wants to buy from a "n00b" without a lot of references. Also alot of members are skeptical about selling to someone like myslef b/c of my lack of any real exposure. So yeah the sig reference method works but it puts newer guys at a major disadvantage to the established members whose name appears in just about EVERY sig. I dont mean that to be disrespectful to said members either but there has gotta be some way to make the market fair for all.

daz007 is a great buyer :)

The sig system works well enough. Noobs are at a disadvantage because people don’t trust them, however something that has been shown here time and again is that trust has to be won – noobs cannot assume they will be, or should be trusted.

Joe McCabe is an excellent seller. I've got so many AES games from him at reasonable price :)

Aaron Lewis, on the other hand, is an excellent trader. At least he shipped first and everything he described was matched my expectation. Too bad that he ruined his reputation and scammed money from other Neo gamers.

My siG's the GreatesT!!!

ANyway, to the "new" guys, if you want to jump into the selling scene with no feedback, Mr. Honest Seller, you'll need to start sending packages first. If not, all I can say is, "Two Tears in a Bucket."

Thats basically what Im gonna have to do isnt it but myself; the "Honest n00b seller" found it rather hard to send an entire AES system across the country without some kind of REAL assurance of the sale going correct. Now if Im buying I will MOST SURELY SEND my payment FIRST but if im selling the best I can do and feel comfortable is sending at the same time. Im not saying I wont send first but thats the EXACT way I got swindled before.
