I never WAS.

Til this morning. Luckily, very minor.

Half my fault, half hers. No charges pressed on either side. Cars are a wee banged up but the important thing is, NO ONE GOT HURT IN THE LEAST.

I have just become another statistic. I thank the Man Upstairs it was just as minor as it was, and will be extra careful from now on.

A small dent in my car means jack shit to the health of the parties involved, and she was a nice Indian lady, we actually had a very friendly conversation as we were waiting for the policeman to arrive. Her 18 month old baby was unharmed, so thank GOD.

Whew, what a day.

Hope your accidents were just as minor...

I rolled my car earlier this year trying to avoid hitting a deer and totalled it out. I was lucky in several reguards. #1, I had my seatbelt on and I crawled out of the car without a scracth. #2 my insurance covered it. #3 I rolled into a field so there was no property damage.

My mom accidentally hit the back of someone picking us up from school.

The car two ahead of us slammed on his breaks for some reason, as did the person in front of us, and when my mom did we started skidding down the road and barely bumped the other car.

Not really an accident but my aunts totalled about 4 cars in her life time.

I flipped my convertible, top down, the day after graduation. I posted pics here if anyone remembers. Lots of fun to be had. I want to go to a high performance driving schoo.

I've been in two major wrecks.

Neither were my fault,

I was lucky enough to get out of each uninjured, as well as my passengers.

(1) I was t-boned in an intersection (fortunately it hit my engine and not my passenger)
(2) I was side swiped by a car whose driver fell asleep on the 5 freeway in OC, he set of a chain reaction where I ended up hitting 4 other cars, spinning the entire time. I had no less than 4 passengers in my car. We were lucky.

i got in one once, i was taking my old elcamino(it's dead now) down to school one morning as i did every day. and while waiting at the stop sign down the street a guy rammed right into my rear knocked my back bumper clean off, and sent me forward, but nothing really bad, he was in a corolla, and no charges were pressed either. both me and him kinda settled things there, and all in all it went over fine. i took the bumper home, and put it back on that weekend, but we both figured since it was nothing but a couple dents that we needn't get insurance involved. now i've never been in a serious wreck, but my momma has; i believe i made a thread about it when it happened this past may.

Only one real time, I followed a bit too closely and was more concerned about getting in the lane rather than blocking the intersection and bumped, very minor damage to her car and I was still nice enough to pay $40 to get those minor repairs done to her car. No damage done to my car. :)

Was in one accident. Was turning a corner, and some car was pulling out of a parking spot, so of course I come to a stop, and this was a slow turn and all that, but then all of a sudden BAM! WTF? The guy who was coming up behind me and also trying to make the turn bumps into my rear. That was a shock and a half, his fault, not mine.

My car has been in many accidents, while parked. Maybe it's invisible, like wonder woman's jet. I don't know. But people keep hitting it and leaving the scene of the crime. People suck.

yeah on three occasions.

1. When out of town in Georgia, I drove pissed off cuz my mom couldn't shut her mouth talking shit about my dad. I was at an intersection, when the light finally turned green, it was too late when I realized I hit the gas too fast. I caused a bump. All it was was just a dent on the bumper. One year later, the bitch tried to sue me for $30,000 and when my court date came up, she became a no show (thanx to her miscombogulated lawyer), and I drove back up north to Virginia a lucky man. Eventually about a few weeks time, the case was dismissed.

2. When driving back home from work when I started my job where I'm required to *wake up while the bats and owls are outside*, I came out of a 10 MPH residential area onto a 35 MPH golf course area. I fell asleep at the wheel and knocked over a speed limit sign. :eek_2: WN3D!

and 3: I was disillusioned by my rear view mirror and accidently backed into somebody. But it was just one of those accidents that eventually turned out friendly, like Steve's case.

One major wreck. Ran a light I didn't even see in broad daylight, and sober no less. Was driving my first car, a Prelude. Got t-barred by another Prelude (newer one then mine). Completely shifted the frame of my car so it was on a slant. It was more then totalled.

Wrecks like that are wierd. They get so much adrenaline pumping through your body. It's an odd experience. I crawled out of my car in shock and honestly felt fine physically. But man, about two or three hours later at the hospital, my hip bone was so bruised (door caved in on my left side) that I couldn't even walk without help.

Luckily, I haven't been into any accidents in the past five years or so now. *knock on wood*

I've never been in an accident yet (knock on wood), but a few of my family members have.

1. My grandmother was driving home from getting her hair done and she knocked a bicyclist off the road into the ditch. He caught up with her when she stopped at a red light, but the court only fined her $150.00 because of her age.

2. My sister had stopped at a KFC to pick up dinner and while she was inside, a woman came in asking if anyone owned a red Z28 Camaro. She hit the driver's side door and bent it in completely, but the insurance took care of everything and the woman was really sweet and honest. It's kind of funny though as my sister's Camaro was the only car in the parking lot.

3. A few years ago during a bad snow storm, my sister and brother hit a patch of black ice at the end of our road that sent them into the woods. Thankfully though, no one was hurt with the exception of a few minor cuts and bruises.

Unfortunatley I have been in one major accident years ago. I had just bought a brand new Formula Firebird and was driving entirely too fast when I came up on some railroad tracks that were in the process of being repaired and they were built up like a ramp at the time. Needless to say doing 120 mph + when I hit the tracks I went airborne, landed in a ditch and flipped end over end way too many times to count. The only reason the car stopped flipping was because it ended up down in a river with the car standing on end resting against the columns of the bridge. Thankfully it was summer in Kansas then, and pretty much a drought, so the river was nothing more than a stream. I flew out of the T-Tops and basically fucked my shit all the way up. Broke by back, all the ribs on my left side, both femurs, even cracked my damn skull......Lesson learned...Always wear a seatbelt.

I have been in an ass load of accidents:

1. Mom got sideswiped by some chik on meth on hwy 270 one night comming home from grandmas. 7 Yrs old

2. was with my dad & he t-boned a mini-van with his imported 1967 Mercedas, had 2,255 miles, showroom condition. 12 yrs old

3.Was in a parking lot and a guy in a towncar hit it at like 5mph. age 14

4. I Rear ended a guy at a stop light, he looked at me and frowned, the took off like a bat outta hell. Im like, WTF? so I drove home and my parents were like WTF? wheres the headlights, so we drove back and picked them out of the ditch.

5. Hit a deer, only broke its legs. I put it out of its misery with the tire iron. Got it made into sausage. Age 16

6. Got T-boned by a truck, guy was drunk and went through the winshield, most of him landed on my roof, this lower half got caught in the winshield. It was the sickest thing ive ever seen. age 17

7. Hit another deer, Broke my winshield and bled all over my seats, Was too messed up to get processed. Damn deer. Age 17

The Deer are really a problem where I live, I probably see 2-3 fresh ones every day on the way to and from school.

Thats all I can think of, Oh yea, i flipped my 4-wheeler a bunch, but that isnt in a car

When I was around 13 or so, me and my dad were on the expressway going kinda fast. I guess my dad didnt notice or something well we were talking and someone hits our car from the rear. My dad losess control and we start to roll and skid the fuck on the street.

It happened so fast I can barely remember.....I open my eyes and I was pretty much ok exvept for a cut on my forehead. I had a seatbelt so I was good. My dad on the other hand had no seatbelt and was impaled by some metal sticking out of the car. It was a grotesque site. I just sat there even though i could get out I just sat there staring in tears. He died.

Thats when I lost my dad...........:crying: Seatbelts save lives people, wear them.

Yes acually.
Two weeks ago.
I dont have a liscence, and my parents where outta town so i stole their car.
I was driving with my girlfriend and a few friends all day.
RIGHT after i droped my girlfriend and her friend off i was turning around in a small ally type parking lot and i hit a pole.

It really sucks to have to call your parents when they are out of town and tell them to stole the car AND crashed it.

Its not too bad, im not in TOO much trouble. My dad was the same way as a teen, so he is easy on this kinda stuff.

The only major accident I've ever been in was about a month and a half ago. I got nailed at a t-intersection at about 60mph, by an old woman and the SUV she had also collided into, I was stopped. Wasn't my fault. Car was totalled. Stupid bitch.

I hit a tree once and it was awesome.

That was like riding the teacups , except for the whole smashing into a tree thing. It would've been cooler if one of us died.:buttrock:

On 9/11 (yes the 9/11) My first car was totalled when a guy in front of me decided to slam on his brakes...so I did too...but the person behind me didn't. My car was a piece of shit but I got a *lot* of money on the insurance....the odometer rolled over and they gave me credit for low mileage...even though I told them it had rolled over.

about 6 months back I was driving w/ my gf in her car when a bunch of drunks in a van decided not to stop at a 4 way red light. i had the green and proceeded to T-Bone them. I had a witness behind me and behind the van that verified that the shmucks were in the wrong. Plus they failed the breathalizer...

good times.
