Its just that I was playing the DC last night over at the big K's and I was pulling stuff off so easily, I wanted that same experience when it really counts, on xbox live. I don't know what I'm gonna do with my real arcade...

How much do you have to pay for shipping something like that from Lik-sang? Just curious, thanks.

I just ordered this converter from lik-sang so I could use my dc agetec arcade stick for cvs2 on xbox live. Does anybody use this converter? If so, what are your impressions of it?

Yes, the DC agetec stick works in the xbox with this, BUT the C and Z buttons have no effect, so you can only use start, A,B,X,Y.

Also take care that the L&R buttons of a Saturn controller have no effect. C&Z do work as black and white, though.

Other than the lack of buttons, this adapter works great.

Shipping was anywhere from 6 to 19 dollars. They use pretty much any shipping method you could want. I picked UPS and have been tracking my it online. I'm really suprised by the amount of gadjets and gizmos they had on their site.

Do you mean L and R? Last time I checked the dc controller didn't have a c or a z button. Seeing as how the dc arcade stick is all digital, I don't see why it would be a problem to get it to work.

I heard on one of the lik-sang forums that the magic box dc controller worked fine, except for certain analog functions which I don't care about because I just want to use the digital functions of the arcade stick. Are their multiple versions of the magic box, or maybe it is incompatible with certain xboxes?

If this converter can't allow me to use all the buttons on the dc arcade stick then it is pretty much useless to me. My next option is this:

Anybody have one of these? If so, how do you like it?

I played with that arcade stick while I was in Japan. It is a pretty solid stick and I would have picked it up, but by that point I had blown all my money on games and beer:p

The DC agetec stick doesn't have L&R buttons like the rest of DC controllers, the fifth and sixth buttons are labelled C&Z instead, because they are digital and not analog as L&R should be. Since the Magic Box is designed with the standar DC controllers in mind, it doesn't recognize C&Z in that particular stick. However, L&R in any regular DC controller work as L&R in the xbox.

I went to the lik-sang forums and they pretty much confirmed what you said. So I ordered the "X-Fighting Stick' instead. Hopefully it is better than my pelican real arcade. At times it feels rock solid, but other times I can't pull off a fireball.

That never happens when I am using a DC stick, and these pads are advertised as being reverse engineered for xbox from the "DC virtua sticks" which looks to be made from the same parts as the official DC arcade stick although the actual joystick seems to be a little lower on the face of the whole stick as compared to the official DC arcade stick.
