At some point, after having beaten a few opponents, you see the shadow of Amakusa, as well as some "ambient" music playing at the same time...
Then that text appears:

"I awake from 100 years of sleep to kick some butt"...
o_o;;

I thought it was kind of funny... Surprised me... The story is happening in the past, and so far all the characters seemed to talk "well" and all... Then that.
(He *may* be saying something slightly different in the Jap version, that's what I'm thinking...)

Hey atleast it's not VICTOLY!

Last nite me and a friend made a drinking game out of SS4, you pull a super, take a shot, you make Victoly! appear on the screen you must take 2. Blood comes from your character you take one.

We would add them up while fighting and at the end of the round pause it and drink.

Samurai Shodown I has the best written dialogue out of all of them easy, and it has wit, something sorely missing from the other three. It also has the best music of the entire series.

I use sigs from SS1 at the bottom of my posts, some of them are definitely terrible engrish, others have a kind of spiritual meaning............... :eek:

yeah he is a bit of a girl, i couldnt really pick a favourite out of it although i do find earthquake to be one of the more interesting to be ?
