Oh man I was so glad for Cal, 3OT win over USC.

Although it was a rough day when UT barely won against such a bad team as South Carolina, but I hold consolation in the fact that we were never losing to them.

Florida, on the other hand, was down 21-3 to UK, but like always UK finds ways to lose games

I'd rub it in, but 'SC has a really nasty defense. Count on them to come right back and crush whoever they play next week. I have no room to talk anyway...my Arizona Wildcats are at an all time low. Thank God they just fired their sorry ass coach.

Pac-10 seems really up for grabs this year. I don't know what was more surprising...Cal upsetting 'SC, or Wazzu monkeystomping Oregon.

Florida
3-2 overall
1-1 SEC

Not to bad, but we still suck this year.

Time to get behind your very own Golden Gophers, Bobak! Had I not been going to our games the last 3 years, I'd say our good start must be the signal of a good season to come...

Denial? have you seen me sig lately?

I haven't given up hope, but I was certainly crushed.

I changed my sig within the hour of the game. Obviously people like Lithy are too busy reading the newspaper a day later to get their jibes in while their hot.

Anyway, we got into the Orange Bowl with 2 losses last year. All I can hope is for a lot of parity in the rest of the NCAA.

At least we weren't Oregon. It's one thing to loose in 3OT, it's another to get whalloped at home.

I'm trying to get a buddy of mine to go to a game with me. We tried going to the Ragin Cajuns game last week but our plan fell through. Now that Michigan is on Friday, I definitely want to go. Are you planning to go to that one?

[Oh, and I saw you walking by last week when I was at Noodles]

I know I was slow I was at Vanderbuilt at Zeta Beta Tau having a blast, but I hadn't seen anything on the boards, so better late than never.

I am really suprised how well the Huskers are doing. They haven't lost yet, and they won their first away game. Granted it was against Southern Miss, but last year that wouldnt have mattered. I think we lost almost every away game. I am afraid what is going to happen when we start playing conference games. :)

I agree, we talked about this before the season started, but man I'm surprised. I still don't think they've looked 'great' but they are winning and that's really what matters. Got themselves back in the top 25, its going good.

The whole Big-12 in chaos. Nebraska is just relying on consistency (in that, even at worst, it's a solid team).

If you need any further proof of the Big 12's state of being, just consider this: Look out for Kansas.

And not just for basketball anymore ;)

Yeah Big 12 is weird. Actually all the undefeated teams have been nothing exceptional. But if you take advantage of every opportunity, barely scooting by, that's how you win championships. Last year, take Ohio State, or take the 98 UT Vols, I'd be hard pressed to name teams taht could've lost so many games...but they just didn't. Nothing amazing, but nothing terrible.

If I can get tickets, yeah. My weekends are a little funny this semester, so I didn't get the student tickets, but I'm definately gonna try for this game. There's gotta be something still available, right?
