I recently purchased this game, and I am trying to find its qualities. Does anyone out there love this game?

If so, can you tell me why so I can discover its beauty?

Right now, I can only say that I am frustrated by its gameplay.:eek_2:

Patience. You need patience.

This is one of those titles that grows on you. I find that the game is very unforgiving, but that's not necessarily a weakness. It's quite different to FFS, and doesn't play like any of the Real Bouts either. So I guess it's almost on it's own gameplay wise. You have to play FF3 as FF3 and not like any FF game... if that makes any sense.

There is a great game there, but it does take time and practice to find it. Persevere and you'll find a really good little beat 'em up.

This game warrants a purchase for its super cheesy intro if nothing else :D

I laugh every time I see or hear it , it sort of sucks as fighters go though ,I think its like the World Heros series an aquired taste.

I love FF3.

Old style fighting gameplay at it's par-best :)

It helped that I played this game when it came out. To me it was simply beautiful. The stages (some of them unforgetable) are good, the music is good and the characters are good (obviously).

The whole athmosphere is great if you ask me, very snk-isch.

It may sound weird, but I don't really understand what the 'so major' flaws of this game are.

It's quite tough and a great challenge, it shines in 1p mode. Besides all that, I think it's rewarding too.

Don't let the mass take you into disliking the game, give it some time and you'll probably start liking it soon enough.

On the other hand, I do have weird taste in neo games. I almost love all of them, inclusing Wh2Jet ;)

FF3 is still one of thebest games ever make by SNK for me.
I like games thats have some time to Master and you can't reach the final boss the first time you play it.Like it is in every KOF if you ask me,becuase they never change really something on it.

In FF3 all is pretty good, the storys are nice for most of every char. in thats game. You can play whit really every char. whitout to say Thats chra sucks. It one of a few games were I can say I like to play whit all chars^-^
And the gameplay is great after you have master it.

Like already said you need time to master the game. Not like a KOF one take and you reach the boss or alreday finish the game.

FF3 is in some way like AOF3 the first time you play it you think damm why they beaten me so bad, thats sucks. But after you know how to play to you win.The more fun you have.I think in thats game you really be proud to win, becuase you have to trainig befor winning^-^ and so it makes much more fun

Or in AOF 2 man I was proud to beat Geese Howard there:glee:

yeah yeah if I think so AOF and FF have still more fun in it as KOF.:buttrock: :buttrock:

Another great factor is the two bosses have 3 different backdrops so each time you fight them you might see a totally new backdrop you havnt seen before

Hong's Port Town stage = best background ever. EVER. EVER.

Yeah man, what a bad ass stage.
I haven't seen stages like that in a LONG time. That's creativity for you.

If my memory serves correctly, Gamefan mag didn't give a high score for FF3.

Without the doubt, FF3 has rich background and one of the best intro in Neo games.

Only complaint I have is the hard-to-perform SUPER DEATH MOVE.

There is no way I can do that kinda joystick movement.

I love Fatal Fury 3. Simple as that.

Dunno why, but this game just shines. The graphics are excellent, with some nice attention to detail too. The music superd - Can't get Terry's music out of my head - and the single player mode is very well done. I was impressed.
