I noticed something while I was playing Maximo (yes it's an older game, I just haven't had the time to play it!)... I just can't seem to get into games made by Capcom. It's really not a prejudicial thing, they just don't do it for me.
SFII Turbo was the last game by them I really loved
. The first few Resident Evils were great... but they tapered off considerably. The Mega Man games aren't that hot anymore, Devil May Cry was pretty unevenful despite all the critical acclaim it got, Maximo was so so, and a lot of their newer fighting games just don't do it for me (SF Alpha 2 and SFIII were pretty darn good though).
So I guess I don't hate every Capcom game, I just have a hard time finding much that I really like that they put out. I wonder if it's a matter of taste that's shared by gamers on this forum (we all seem to have similar tastes). Or maybe I am just a bad person

from the innovative power stone series, to the wonderful shooters they published, the dreamcast would not be the dreamcast without them, I think they are having a hard time, but then again, alot has changed for them, dying arcades along with loss of interest in 2D has hurt them, they are a very good company, just have faith.
