I think the serials are scratched off because arcade ops dont want anyone to know where they came from. MD sells only legit games to my knowledge.

That is correct, scratched off so people don't know where they came from. MD sales is a great seller.

I have had 2 boots that both originated from MDgames so I know personally they have sold 2 if not more. Thats not to discredit the company as most have had no problems whatsoever and I doubt this one is a boot.

its not a boot, cosmico sells them liek that as well, they can get in trouble with distributors or something for selling them to regular consumers or something along those lines..

Matrimelee is still that expensive in kit form? Damn I would have thought the game would bottom out sooner or later like ROTD. Was there a smaller production run? Or maybe I am just a bit too impatient....

doesn't that kind of ruin the "value" and collectbility of the kit?

what does it matter to arcade ops
scratching off the serials on a cart has no impact on how many people put quarters into their machines

Is that good or bad? I have ROTD though it doesn't get too much play time. Matrimelee pretty much the same?

I think they are both awesome.

RotD is fun and very easy to pick-up and play, the sqame goes for Matrimelee.

Personally,I think Matrimelee has an edge over RotD. I really like the zany characters and the awesome music. The combo system and controls are tighter than RotD,as well.

I believe it is illegal to re-sell arcade boards across countrys, and thats how they prevent the carts from being traced.

I'm afraid so.

MM's are no longer made.

I think MS3 was the last MVS title to include an original MM.

Pretty lame.

Mini Marquees are still included with new MVS kits. They're made out of paper, however. My ROTD and KOF2k2 kits all had the paper Mini Marquees.
