Yes - you can play any game in the home english on a jap NGH system using the debug bios

However, you can only run games made before 98 in MVS mode. There may be a few 1998 games that will run in MVS mode, but most won't.

This really isn't a big deal though. Most of the games that were censored (Samsho's, slugs, etc.) were made before 98. After that they pretty much relaxed the whole English censorship thing. So those are really the only ones you might wanna run in English MVS mode, the others you may as well run in home English mode.

Actually, my debug won't much boot anything made after '95 in mvs mode at all.

Strangely tho, kof 2k1 and 2k2 both will boot in mvs mode. Was Playmore looking out for us or what?

I have that problem with games that are encrypted. There is a way around it though. Boot the system in home mode, then after intro/title whatever. Go back into the bios and set it to MVS, don't reset just exit out, then try adding credits.
