Hey,
Can any of you guys tell me if the CPS2 Board will run WITHOUT the -5v connected? So just +5 and +12.

OK... will it work with just 5v then? Ignoring sound, will the game run? For some reason, once a CPS2 board gets inside my room, it stops working. So frustrating.

Yes +5v is enough for any jamma board to run (without sound). Someone (whom I won't mention) once said that even if a CPS2 board runs with +5v only you still get sound out of the stereo RCA connectors. Well, that's bullshit lie!

One other thing to note is that the cooling fan won't operate either so you may get thermal issues too!
