Go back a few years to to when the large marquee came out,

then look at kof2001 where all u had to do was rub it and the color would come of, then there was the slighly smaller and thinner kof2002 one which was slighly thickened by lamination

but the worse insult was the ROTD one which was more like a piece of carboard/paper plus shorter in depth too

Now with the snk vs capcom one you only have to put slight pressure on it and it creases.

I just won a kof2000 large marquee and i cant believe the difference, it is well made very thick solid and not easily damagaeble if only they were all made like this.

shoot,

I wish they were still using PlexiGlass Marquees with the clear window to put the Mini Marquess in. but they stoped using those around 93' and quite using plexiglass altogether around 95 if I remember.

Yeah, the ROTD one PISSED ME OFF! What a cheap out. To me it was the first sign that SNK wasn't concerned with the MVS gamer anymore.

Yeah, when they get a thousand + dollars a kit when they are newly released you would think they would at least try. I don't understand why they didnt stick with the mini marquee and license out rights to the large marquee to a different compny or sell them seperately.
