My god, I've never have had so much fun with one console before. I LOVE YOU NEO GEO!

Yeah, I just had one of those "moments" while playing Last Blade :p

Yes my Neo has been my favorite system of all time. Fighting game slice of heaven, great shooters, and a few nice platformers. Long after SNKP retires the NEO, will it still sit on top of my entertainment center as well as anyone else who reveres 2D fighting games so much. I wonder how homecart prices will be like 10 years from now.

Runner up: Genesis and all its mutations. So many great shooters, the Shinobi series, Golden Axe, SOR, and Phantasy Star 2-4 as well as on Sega CD; Snatcher, more shooters, Lunar, and on 32X, the awesome Afterburner Complete and Shadow Squadron.

Third place: The good ol NES.

SNES wasn't named b/c I never owned one, my brother did.

I had this playing my NGPC KOF R2 last night also.

SNK just had some special magic.

Agree too! Neo-Geo & Dreamcast are legendary beasts, no other machines give you that 100% fun feeling! I won't buy any other hardware!

NES is cool and has a sentimental value as being my first console but I don't play it anymore (or on very few occasions).
But my MVS and my Dreamcast are nearly always turned ON!

Talking about the Neo, I'll quote a friend who was playing my cab that said "It's better than the Playstation!".
You bet!

Oh yes. Neo Geo for SNK games...... Dreamcast for Capcom games. Best of both fighting worlds!!!!!:buttrock:

Garou is great, but sometimes you need a little Marvel Vs Capcom, and Dreamcast delivers.:buttrock: :buttrock:

NEO for ever:buttrock:

Nothing will take the neo-geo place in my heart:)
I owned all the new generation systems, I sold them all (exept my dreamcast of course:D )

So sad though that the original SNK programmation team had to split up:crying: :crying: :crying:

I wouldn't say its timeless. Chances are 5,000 years from now kids will be too busy (enter sci-fi psychobable term here) their PS1000s to care about the good ol' Neo. Assuming any remnants of it even surivive.

Sorry, I'm feeling really literal today. :D

MAYBE in 5,000 years, but I doubt it. Will the human race even be around for another 5,000 years:spock:

Going off of what Shady said. NO, there's no way we'll be aroung in 5000 years. we'll kill each other off much faster than that.

NeoGeo is something special, something of its own.

Dreamcast is nice, yet both Saturn and SuperFamicom own DC for free night and day.
