This is a question I've pondered for years now. Capcom has released compilation discs with 50 versions of SF2, but why not SF1 (or Fighting Streets if you like)? It can't take that much space up on a disc, I'm sure they could even toss it on the new Hyper SSF2 coming out for PS2. Anyway, I'm just curious because I've got nearly every SF game out there but I've never been able to own the original, and I'm not really wanting to shell out the cash for a Turbo Duo (or the equivelent ) just for that game. Anyone feel the same way or have an idea as to why they haven't released it?
), and fiddle with the plot to get it to mesh a little more with the series plot that resulted from all that ZERO/ALPHA fiddling. Heck, they've already got Z/A sprites for Ryu, Ken, Gen, Birdie, Eagle, Adon, and Sagat that they could recycle (with minor tweaks: take away Sagat's scar, give Ryu back his red slippers and matching hair, etc.) -- they'd only have to make 5 totally new sets of sprites (Joe, Mike, Lee, Geki, and Retsu). Ah, well... not holding my breath.

Damn, CAPCOM USA, anyway...
