You'll probably get your stuff, when is a good guess though. They ship whenever they feel like it and they almost never answer email. Good luck.

Buy rite sucks! I wanted to buy a neo geo aes system from them and they never replied back. It took almost a month and a half. When I got the reply, they said that they were all out of neo geo systems! I couldn't believe it! We have to put a stop to their scams! Good luck gurendaiz , hope you get your stuff! :very_ang: :mad_2:

I've dealt with them recently on Ebay, under their "Gamebuyers" handle, and everything went fine.

I can only speak on my experience with them on Ebay. This has nothing to do with their business practices on their very own site,so take heed.

I bought a brand new copy of Matrimelee Jpn AES from them about 2 weeks ago.I was unaware of their Ebay handle,Gamebuyers,on Ebay,So I went ahead and bought it.

However, after all said and done,a few members clued me in that Gamebuyers was,indeed,Buy-Rite's handle on Ebay. After hearing the many "horror" stories provided by some of the members,my worries grew.

A week went by,and the game finally arrived. To my surprise, it came as stated, brand new.

As for packaging,I know most of you probably would not believe what I'm about to say,but it was packed really well, foam packing peanuts and all. Just make sure to leave a note telling them to pack it well and mark it up as a gift...worked for me..;)

Sure,it did take about a week to get here, which is decent, considering the fact that their auction clearly states"please allow 2weeks after payment is received for shipment".

Also, when I inquired about the availabillity/condition of the actual product, they seemed very honest,if not brief, about it.Their response was very fast and to the point.

Just my two cents on this matter.

Yeah, I won a MS3 off them back in June 2001 on Yahoo Auctions and it came right away and was boxed nice and secure. But since then, all the nightmares, I would never buy from them again.

I also emailed them some questions back when I was looking for my AES system. They never replied and I never bought from 'em. See how customer service can affect a business.

Holy crap, you just saved me from making a big mistake. I didn't know these guys were Buy-Rite. I emailed them 2 times asking questions about the auction for PI4, and I never got a response.

Thanks a lot, man.

Because Ebay makes their feedback PUBLIC, they likely do everything in their power to keep their record clean, which would mean not scamming people. NO ONE will buy from someone with super shitty Ebay feedback.

This being the case, I STILL won't buy from them on Ebay on principal alone.

Look if they have a game on Ebay and they state the condition and what's included, it is obvious from the above posts that it will arrive as such.

That being the case, they at times have good prices and I can see no reason to not buy from them on Ebay only.

To stand on the "my friend says their website sucks" is silly because they obviously have decent Ebay practices.

now to be clear, I have not biught from them anywhere, but if they had a good deal on Ebay, I likely would.

I bought some Sega Saturn imports from them back in the day and they were OK. They DID send me a PSX Tekken 3 import (worth way less than the X-Men Vs Street Fighter w/ 4 MB RAM cart I paid for!). They made me pay the return shipping but DID send the right game out.

After reading all the horror stories though, I'll neither deal with them through their website nor their Ebay auctions. Scammers are scammers no matter what.
