25 overrated games (the crappiest list I've seen)

My god these people are incompitent. Neverwinter Nights did everything it said it would. The "Faults" of the manual... WTF. They released a seperate programming guide and released may free ones at their site. Unless you wanted to do nothing in your module on the fly (e.g. have every event pre-programmed) then you really did not need to much programing if any at all.

what do these people want every game to play and feel the same.
i love the feel of haloand every person that i know feels the same way. i cant just say it is just another fps.
bottom line is if a game is a launch title and is know as one of the best games for any system it is not over rated.
halo is a instant classic it was a sleeper hit.
i would say like any classic it will be fun to still play 5 years later.
the game spy people dont like consoles.
bitching about the controls not bing a mouse and keyboard.
i tried a download of the pc halo beta. it sucks with thw mouse
and keyboard.
they complain about the split screen also.
in multi player you dont need a split screen. on a 36 wega
split sreen is just fine. i love having my friends over and teaming up online against people. is is so much fun to have you buddys over sitting on the couch talking shit about the other team.

I disagree with more than a few choices, but that's really not my issue with the list. There's simply no focus. Is this a "we gave it a good score then, but..." list? Why is something like Daikatana on there (which was universally slammed. Hard to overrate that). Is this a "man, this game got way to much hype" list? Why is a cult classic like Battletoads on there? Is this a "looking back, these features should have been included" list? Why all the exceptions?
Get my drift? It's a mish-mash of 3-4 different ideas and a lot of revisionist history.
Consistency is the only reason I'll ever argue with someone about their opinions - this was just poorly done.

Anyway my overrated games list would be GTA3, GTA:VC, FF7-10, Dead or Alive 3, and that's abot all I can think of right now
Overhyped games would be : Halo, Star Fox Adventures, Metal Gear Solid 2, and GTA3 and VC

Super Mario Sunshine pales next to Mario64. It's sad but true.
Much of what's written by PC folk about Halo really smacks of sour grapes. Hate MS all you want for snatching up Bungie, but Halo is still an incredible game. Just needs some more multiplayer maps something fierce. Still far and away the best CONSOLE FPS ever. It would be like an arcade elitist who worships Final Fight trying to be objective about Streets Of Rage 2.
Oh well, everyone has their preferences. PC players can't stand playing FPS games with a mouse, fighting folks can't stand playing fighting games with a pad. To each his own.
