Whats all this SNKP ?

In the last couple of weeks i have seen these initials come up plenty of times is this the new name playmore are going by and if so why are they calling themselves snkp all of a sudden like they have joined with snk or what ?

I think Playmore figures that SNK has a better name in video games than they do,so maybe thats the reason. I personally have seen the name SNK-Neo Geo on G4 and in the magizines.

Playmore IS SNK apparently.......

SNK Neo-Geo USA is the US company name (New Jersey office I believe in charge of the US console, non-AES releases, correct me if I'm wrong.)

SNK Playmore is the official company name, changed back in June I think.

And yes, it is Playmore's way of conning, I mean convincing, the masses that they are the same company they were 2 years ago, with a name change.

The OFFICAL company name now is SNK Playmore. So someone got creative and shortened it to SNKP. It think its pretty nifty.
