Smilies Additions/Subtractions

There is space to add MANY more smilies, but with the current setup, we have room for 10 more that will fit on the standard post screen.

So, what do you want added or replaced?

Some guidelines.....

Must be the same size as the onces we have (more or less), none of the huge animated ones.

Must be appropriate for all forums, none of the ones, say, giving the finger, etc.

And, if someone wants to fix Mr T (if you don't want to dump him) sao he looks good on a black background, that would be cool.

Set up a poll.

Give everyone a week to nominate additions then list the whole lot and let people choose their top ten or whatever.

If you still have spaces, let people choose their next ten and so on.

Do a poll.

I'd agree that a vote would be the best way to get some new smileys that satisfy the majority.

As I said, there are nine columns of smilies in the box, so they take a lot of horizontal room. In my case (15'', 800x600) they reach almost half the screen so the reply box barely fits. I think there should be seven columns as a maximum.

And talking about smilies, when you click on one it appears in the bottom of your text, not where the cursor is, so it's quite uncomfortable.

is a must, we need him :buttrock:

But i think a poll for smiley additions and subtractions would be a great idea.

Maybe a poll could have a 'vote for the ten you want' and then a 'vote for the ten you don't want' and subtract the answers from each other.
