Is there any chance they will keep making Neo CD ports of their games? I simply can't afford a cart system or it's games, but I shudder to think I'll never play SVC Chaos.:(

The CD system is history. There will be no new games for that platform from SNKP. I've heard that some homebrew programmers are looking into making a game for it, but that's about it.

For SVC and the latest KOF games, your best bet to play them affordably is to simply get the versions made for the import DC and import/domestic PS2. Yes, it pains me to say that as ports are inferior to the real deal, but this is your only option at this point. Sorry.

oh well, i've been wanting to add to my dreamcast collection. it's a mixed blessing, i suppose it's better to play a bastardized version than not at all.

School me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Neo CD versions of the later fighting games all take a rather large animation hit? I already know the loading times were pretty unbearable.

If that's truly the case, then the Dreamcast/PS2 ports would be MUCH closer to the real thing than any Neo CD version.

Lets just hope the keep producing home carts!!!;)

I have a strong feeling that SvCC, SS0/V, Metal Slug 5, and KOF'03 will be the last home carts.
