Is the new FF7 DVD just a movie and not a game? Does anyone have any other info besides what Magic Box has reported? Its looking like its just going to be a movie.

It sure doesnt look like a PSP game as many rumors were predicting. . . Unless of course there are multiple FF7-2 releases coming up. So much speculation . . . no facts. :(

If you check out www.spong.com, they refer to it as a "game"

But later in the same article, they say they're not sure of the format/platform...

Just so damned happy, I'm praying for a US release of this, although if there isn't I'm sure there will be a fansubbed version of this thing out soon anyways, FF7 is that huge to so many people.

I just can't believe it...look at that artwork.....

Ah yes, the last good FF gets more love. Since FFVII has some of the most memorable characters in the entire FF series, this game (or movie) will sell like hot cakes.

And I'm hungry.

How come when I go to the website I'm not getting the images just like at gamegen.com? Could someone help me out to find out what the problem is?

Final Fantasy 7 is my favorite game---of all time. No kids angry reviews or snide remarks are going to change the fact that for a good month, I lived inside that world with those people. Never quite had a video game experience like it...and I'm pretty sure I'll never get the chance to again.

FFVII is fantastic.

One of the most beautiful (yeah, I said beautiful...) and immersing games I've ever played.

Why people don't like this game is honestly beyond my understanding; it has everything.

Dunno. never understood the attraction. Never cared about the characters nor the plot. I got bored within 20 minutes. I even stuck it out for 15 hours and still thought it stunk.

Not my cup of tea I suppose, but rpgs aren't something I've really enjoyed since FF6. I feel that was the last good one (for me anyways).

Edit: grandia 2 rocked my world, I take that back.

My curiosity is certainly piqued.

The last time I saw something like this it turned out to be an April Fool's prank at the Final Fantasy forums. :oh_no:

And for coincidences... I just started FF VII again yesterday.
